At 8pm on Thursday 27th November, the Aveley & Newham Band invite players to an open rehearsal at Aveley Band Hall.
This rehearsal is open to anyone who wishes to come along and have a blow with one of London’s top brass Bands.
Musical Director, Nigel Taken will be rehearsing a variety of pieces including test pieces, concert items and entertaining arrangements. It will also gives players a chance to get to know some of 2009’s test pieces including the Championship Section regional’s piece and the Grand Shield test piece.
The Rehearsal will include some of the following pieces:
